The Corrency project in Prague 16 revitalized the local economy and boosted citizens' purchasing power. Thanks to the city council, citizens were able to use subsidies
to support local businesses and save up to
50% on goods and services. The project ran from April 2025 to August 2025.
“From the perspective of Radotín Town Hall, this is a revolutionary step – for the first time in history, we are providing direct support to citizens from the budget, subject to only two basic restrictions: citizens and organizations must be based in Radotín, and citizens must always pay the other half of the amount themselves. The system therefore forces all parties to be prudent, but at the same time motivates them to use local resources and not to purchase goods, services, or leisure activities outside Radotín."
